DIY: Fabric Pom Poms

Hey Guys!

So what i have for you guys today are these BEAUTIFUL fabric pom poms. They're very easy to make just very time consuming. Although they take up a lot of your time, the outcome of them is very satisfying and substantially worth it.

To recreate this DIY, just keep reading...

What you will need:
- 9.5" paper lanterns (This is the size that I chose, of course, you can choose whatever size you'd like)
- Hot glue gun and glue
- Pearls and little press-on diamonds
- Ribbon (Your choice of color)
- Fabric (At least 3 yards for each lantern)

I printed out a 3" circle and traced it on a piece of cardboard and cut it out to have my stencil for all the mini circles were going to cut out. So i laid out my fabric and folded it in half. I then drew the 3" circle all over the fabric. This is the part that is most time consuming.

After you've drawn all of your circles and you will draw A LOT! Cut a square around each individual circle and fold it in half and cut around the outline of your circle. After you do that, you should have two circles. To make it easier and more comfortable for myself, I cut out all the squares and cut out the circles in bed while watching TV. Pure laziness if I'd say so myself.

When you have your stack of circles, start by taking your circle, folding it in half, placing a dot of glue in the low center, and folding once more. What your left with is kind of like a triangle. Im sorry for the change of colors in fabric, i made three different lanterns. One white, black, and pink. When you have your little triangle, glue it on to your triangle. Kind of mix up the ways you glue the on so they look like swirls.

This is what it will start to look like...

After i finished gluing all the fabric together, I added my rhinestones and pearls. I only added pearls to the pink one because I thought the black and white one looked better with the rhinestones only. I also added some bows on to the top for a finishing touch.
I placed them above my vanity, and I must say, they look so incredibly amazing. I'm so in love with them. I didn't end up using the pink one because i thought it was too pink for my room, but it went great in my best friends room so i gave that to her.

Thanks guys, hope you enjoyed!
